Regulations on the Transportation of Lithium Ion Batteries

This news update contains important information from IDX regarding the transportation of Lithium Ion batteries. From 1st January 2009 the latest rules from IATA not only affect individuals carrying Lithium Ion batteries on-board civil aircraft, but also influence the way they are classified, labeled and packed when freighted as air cargo or transported by road freight.
