New 'Universal' IDX adaptor plates
IDX Technology is introducing two new adaptor plates to its ENDURA System of power products. The new P-V2 and P-VS2 plates use an all-new design for easy fitting to virtually all professional video cameras, providing a V-Mount battery connection as well as more ergonomic and accurate operation.
Twelve screw holes provide adaptable universal fixings for straightforward and secure mounting to all makes of cameras including the Panasonic's professional range. The new plate has a flush profile meaning it can fit directly onto the cameras without needing any additional plates. Power pickup for a camera light plugs into the provided D-Tap DC output. The included IDX Digi-View system benefits from new technology and includes battery-capacity readings in one-percent steps.
As with the original P-V plates, the new models are available without (P-V2) or with (P-VS2) IDX Syncron that allows an on-board camera light to turn on and off in sync with the camera's record button.
